Sam or Sham, you do have to admit he has been playing better as of late which is not surprising and what many here expected, with him not having played in two years, still recovering from injury and playing in a new system.
He did come out recently and say he feels more comfortable and that he feels his footwork is not as much an issue as before.
If the O-line stays at an average level, or gets better next year, and we actually have outside receivers that can play, perhaps extending Sam in not such a bad thing.
I was down on Bradford as many were so far this season but I must admit, not having capable WRs outside of Mathews makes him look pretty bad...if noone can get open, what the hell is he supposed to do?
If he keeps improving, sign him and fix the Oline and WR position, we'll be fine.
