For sure is that Howie would've been asking St. Louis for a 2d round pick. Not that he'd have gotten it or anything, but at least he doesn't roll over and expose his big Winnie the Pooh belly for Jeff Fisher to rub.

Totally agree. Howie would not have probably even made that trade

Honestly, I think Chump's moves have been made more sense from a personality perspective than a talent perspective.

I think he simply did not like the personalities of some players on the team.

I do not think it is a recipe for success to get rid of a player because Kelly can't work with him. Talent is talent and you must accommodate difficultly that goes with talented players.

Kelly has gutted the Eagles of a lot of talent.

Yeah. I'm not saying you need to have a woman beater on your team like Hardy but if you're willing to have KKKooper who actually had three garbage time catches today.... it shows you are willing to compromise on your values for some unknown reason.

So you think Kelly should take an approach to players akin to what Abraham Lincoln said about Ulysses S. Grant when cabinet members complained that he was a drunk:

"Find out what he's drinking and give it to the rest of the generals."

I just don't get Winnie saying that he's all about culture then having a guy like KKKooper. That be a slippery slope the end point of which is a woman beating miscreant like Hardy. I'd rather they did it like the Pats (who I hate) and just every year have pretty much role players fit in to Gelstalt their way to rings.

              That's a great quote though.

I apparently made a mistake in thinking that you thought Kelly should be more interested in trying to manage difficult players who can win games for him, since you felt there is some evidence he will compromise his values.

Although Cooper leading to Hardy is too much of a stretch for me.
