It's so obvious to me that these guys are clueless on what to do or where to be. There was one moment when the offense was getting set yesterday where I saw Celek holding his arms up in the air toward the sideline as if to say, "What's the play? Do I come in or go off?" He finally runs off the field. We're not talking some rookie. There's just nothing but confusion. That tells me it's just too difficult. The way that the plays are communicated is too difficult. The plays themselves are too difficult. There was an article that came out this past week that talked about why guys like Miles Austin are being used so much and one anonymous guy from outside the organization weighed in and someone within the organization weighed in. They both said it's because Kelly can rely on Austin to run the right route. Doesn't matter that he's physically done and has hands of stone. He runs the right route. Doesn't matter that the safety is draped on him, he ran the right route. THIS is the sh*t Chip Kelly values.
