I was never a huge STP fan but Core, Purple and whatever the third album was called were in heavy, and I mean COSTANT, rotation on the radio and friend's houses for like five-six years straight in the 90s. Man, that Unplugged album was overplayed like crazy too. Anyone remember the song they did for the Crow soundtrack? Loved that in junior high.
Some good songs, definitely part of the soundtrack of my youth.

"Big Empty" was from The Crow. Later released on Purple also.
John Erlichman, one of President Richard Nixon's closest aides, has admitted America's "War on Drugs" was a hoax designed to vilify and disrupt "the antiwar left and black people" when it was launched in 1971.
