Philanthropist whose $100 million gift resulted in the formation of one of the nation's great public engineering schools, and the change of Glassboro State College to Rowan University. With that said, one of the highlights of my journalism career was getting tossed out of Rowan's office while trying to interview him for a story I wrote about his firm's alleged sale of technology used in the manufacturer of nuclear bomb nose cones to the then-Soviet Union.
