Chip Kelly says Eagles want to re-sign Sam Bradford

Eagles head coach Chip Kelly doesn't like to talk contracts, but he did make one thing clear on Monday about quarterback Sam Bradford.
"We wouldn't have traded for Sam," Kelly said, "if we only wanted him for one year."
Bradford, who is set to become a free agent at the end of the season, is playing his best football of the season right now, and has led the team to two-straight victories, including a 23-20 win over the Buffalo Bills this past Sunday.
Over the past four games, Bradford has five touchdowns to just one interception, and the Eagles 3-0 in the past three games he has started and finished.
Things could get tricky, however, this offseason as Bradford is set to become a free agent.
Although Kelly is making is clear he wants to re-sign Bradford, it is going to be interesting to see how much the quarterback looks, considering how much he can improve his stock over the next three games.
If the Eagles can win the NFC East, and they are in prime position to do so, Bradford will hit the free agency market as a division-winning quarterback, and is just 28-years old.
Bradford will also be coming off of his best season in the NFL, and if he doesn't miss another game, he will have missed just two this season, answering some of the questions about his health.
What it will cost to sign Bradford is tough to tell.
A potential comparison is the four-year, $77 million deal the Miami Dolphins gave to Ryan Tannehill this past offseason, with $45 million guaranteed.
Giving Bradford $45 million off of one successful season could certainly be viewed as a risk, but if the Eagles win the division, it might be a risk the Eagles won't have a choice to make.
And one Kelly sounds very interested in.
***The bigger question of course will be, does BRADFORD want to continue to play for a shit-ass bunch of unappreciative fans???
