  • you cant win with this QB

plenty of blame to go around, but the simple fact is, you are never going to win with a guy who turns it over at this rate.

and who doesn't even make big plays to counter the turnovers. the good plays that bradford makes are the kind of plays that an average NFL starter makes a few times a game. not a reason to sign him long-term.

He was fine until the game was out of hand

        What are you talking about?

Bradford wasn't even in the top 10 of reasons why that shit happened last night.

Bradford isn't going to resign anyway with this bad Oline protecting him. He'll either get the tag or go where there is a decent Oline.

You and I usually agree but not here. Too many other issues on this team.

              sure he was

the defense takes the bulk of the blame (ben discussed ad
nauseum) but Bumford sucked out loud. Part of the defense sucking, a big part, was because they were on the field so much. One of the 'Zona TDs came right after a one-minute possession. That pick six he threw would have been a disgrace in a Pop Warner game. He had zero pocket awareness (a problem all year) on that lost fumble. And yeah...the receivers blow. But this guy just doesn't throw it down the field.

No way would I re-sign this guy.

and no, I dont have an alternative, either. I think we're fucked for a long time to come.

His statistics don't match your argument

O-line has problems (even with All Pro vets), receivers subpar and cannot separate, scheme too fast (wears down defense when O is not functioning)

He only has two guys who are ever open. Garbage o line. I don't think he's the problem at all right now.

I thought he was stepping up in the pocket all night (at least until I turned it off).

No, I was there and actually he did not suck.

There was no run game and he has no target downfield at whom to throw.

And he was getting smacked around all game.

EDITED TO ADD: I was frankly impressed with how he hung in and delivered the ball.

Bradford's not a world-beater, but he played well enough to win if he had ANY help.

Honestly, can you think of another member of the offense that is doing their job better than Sam? Right now he looks like their most talented offensive player. For the record, I don't see that as a good sign.

                        Chip has assembled a custom-built cluster-fuck.

that's not what I'm talking about

Not blaming him for the loss or for this team being in the shitter. I have been on the fnece about this guy all year and last night just did it for me. I might not have been terrible. And he is great compared to Sanchez. But I dont think he's a longterm answer at QB, and I dont think he's worth the market rate to re-sign him.

I agree there are shitloads of other problems. But you need a QB to win and I dont think Bradford is that guy.

No pass protection. No running game. No defense. Every QB is going to start pressing late in games because this team sucks. And the pick-6 looked like a miscommunication.

Have to agree, not a big Bradford fan "here", but I COULD see him being pretty damn good in a conventional offense.

The bigger problem is the "Offensive Genius" running this shit show.
