    HOLY CRAP!!! Red Klotz a HOF finalist

    "Contributor" category! Is about fucking time! Second best Christmas present behind IG-ette's graduation.

    One of his former teams, the Philadelphia SPHAs, is nominated in the team category as well.

    Sucks Red is not around to hear the news but at least his family finally gets some respect.

            Just told his wife...he still faces long odds

            to say she is happy doesn't do it justice.

            there are a bunch of others nominated and only a small group or even one gets in.

            The good news is he is finally in the official conversation which will continue into the future if it doesn't happen this year.

                  He has had a thick file in support for decades

                  I do think we helped raise awareness, and tragically it took his death to open up some eyes...but still. A great day for his family and friends.

                      honestly many hoops people just assumed he was already in

                      many bigtime people I spoke to in the course of doing reseach were unaware and shocked to learn he wasn't in.
