Howie and Jeff are picking the new head coach.

And Jeff danced around the hiring a GM question.

Here's to the new boss...same as the old boss.
John Erlichman, one of President Richard Nixon's closest aides, has admitted America's "War on Drugs" was a hoax designed to vilify and disrupt "the antiwar left and black people" when it was launched in 1971.

I've been saying this all along

It's the one thing this team lacked. So obvious.

I had hoped he would come to his senses...

and do it correctly this time. GM and THEN coach.

I guess Howie is still part of the three way with Jeff and the Asian goddess.

understanding Philadelphia its fans and what it means to be an Eagle,,,chip was fucing clueless, also the words trust and family came into play,,,a team is like a family and this was never embraced by Kelly,,,he ruined this teams Chem right away,,,When a guy like Jason Peters won't play for you and guys like Tra T and Harold Carmichael do not want to be around the organization anymore you know something was seriously wrong.

Please. That is probably the least important

part of being a head coach....understanding the fans. Bwahahahaha.

That was just Jeffrey pandering to the fans.

                  BULLSHIT!

All the head coach needs to know is how to put a team together that can win the Super Bowl. Period.

But the family dynamic is spot on, though. As shitty as Big Red was about his game time adjustments, his rapport with the players in the locker room was stellar. He lets them be adults, he has their back, and he very rarely (if ever) undermines them to the media. Of course, that made the press conferences kind of boring with all of the "it's on me" talk...but it worked better than saying the problem was always in the execution.

                      I disagree with you here

Chip had no idea what it meant to be an eagles fan,,,at all...one thing about the guy irked me,,, he did not embrace the subculture of the team its history or Rivalries,,,,he lost it all

Also Reid (FF) would do stuff like give the players an extra day off after a big win, etc.

Didn't Chip once remark to the press that he didn't understand why there were so many of them and that other cities have fans that are just as passionate as thefans in Philly? While that may be true, it just shows that he didn't get it. You don't say that. It's like he had football Aspergers, he couldn't get along with anyone - his own players, the media, the fans....nobody.

                              Honestly. Stop.

When he first came to Philly he went to Wing Bowl and did a lot of Philly things.
