if im a head coaching candidate im looking at he eagles as a second tier option because there really arent any stand out positives plus it seems the ownershit isnt really being honest with itself that this team needs a rebuild. pressure to win with a team seemingly ill-equipped to do so doesnt make a job very enticing. the howie thing just exacerbates the lack of intrigue for the position because the track record suggests that no matter the talent level the new coach will be saddled with all the blame if this mediocre team doesnt exceed expectations. thats how howie historically operates isnt it?

Eli is 35 and they need to rebuild just like the Eagles do. And I just read where there might be a major disagreement between Tisch--who wants to fire Coughlin--and Mara who's wavering.
Tennesee is another place where ownership is a mess and Webster might be fired as GM.
Balke will be on his 3rd head coach is 3 seasons.

Totally agree. Those 3 franchises are a mess right now. Ditto for Cleveland and Miami.
