  • Another losing record at the Linc

I feel like at least in Kelly's first season they had a winning record at home, but once again they were below .500 at home this season. I don't get to as many games anymore, but nothing about the Linc strikes me as being particularly intimidating. Even at its loudest it's not that loud. The TO return game was crazy, but even the last playoff game, the noise wasn't so deafening that it gave the other team problems. It's almost like the Linc neuters one of the team's best advantages, its fans. Not sure that can be rectified.

If it's any consolation, the pukes won 1 game at home this season. And even that one was by a single point.

        This is kind of amusing:

The crowd noise was deafening at times this year and impacted play occasionally.

It wasn't the stadium that neutralized the crowd ... it was the team's play.

They put a legit contender in there, the crowd will be an advantage.

PS - IE made the point that closing in one end of the Stink may have contributed to increased crowd noise impact, after I commented on the ride home after a game that I had never heard the crowd at the Stink as loud as after a shitbag referee review that upheld a dropped ball Bradford INT.

That's true - it has seemed louder since they closed it off. And the team did stink.
