The Eagles are in state of flux with coaching and players. Even if the Eagles get two new quality guards it will take at least half the season for the OL to get on the same page. New WR and/or new QB? That will take at least a year. Continuity is critical and like this year, they (not we) won't have that in 2016. And what if they (not we) go back to a 4-3? More changes on the defense.

Ravens could have made a run to the SB last year. They'll bounce back. Rodgers will get Jordy back and both of those teams had OL injuries this year.

I'm not feeling it with the Eagles. It's time to pay the piper for all the years of draft mediocrity.

This team is in a serious state of flux and you can't plug and play players from FA. It's a slow process in the NFL to ramp up talent if your team is devoid. I say it's devoid. Cox is the only bonified top tier stud on this team. Barwin had a down year. Peters past his prime. Kielce had a bad year. hicks showed promise. c'mon lets get real here.

I saw the for skins draft well this year with that new guy from Seattle. They also have a little continuity to build from. I think the Eagles need to stabilize things with a strong proven coach like Payton. If they do and keep Shurmur and renew Bradford, I think things could get better much faster than getting a newbie like Gase.

NFL teams with good management can turn things around in a year or two. There is so much roster churn it doesn't take long to rebuild. You just need to identify and retain the key players. Even Reid (FF) went from one of the suckiest teams in Eagles history to a seriously contending team in very little time.

Questions are do the Eagles have good management right now, and can they retain their viable building blocks for a few years?

I think this team was so poorly coached/managed by Chump that they may have more talent on the roster than is immediately evident.
