    Geighse getting second interview

    according to Rapoport.

"Sounds like Adam Gase impressed in Philly. I'm told the #Eagles plan to bring him back for a second interview this weekend."

That gives Howie time to bring in a new case of lube.

Someone on Twatter...Mosher maybe...also said that Howie likes Geighse in part because they both come from "a non-traditional football background." Apparently Howie appreciates other guys that didn't play football past 8th grade or something.

Also this candidates nickname is "Goose."

This will allow Howie to live out his dream of calling himself "Maverick."

Yes, Mr. Lurie. No, Mr. Lurie. Whatever you say, Mr. Lurie.

The effeminate front office surrounds itself with effeminate people.

              The Novacare is effeminate.

Looks more like Michael Keaton in that picture to me.

                  Or is that Smolenski (sp)?

I liked what I read in here:

Why the Bears offensive coordinator is considered such a strong candidate for NFL head coaching vacancies, including the Eagles', this offseason.

Sounds like a good teacher and relates well to players - which is something Lurie is going to be looking for after Chip. Here's one interesting snippet, which might be relevant on this team:

“He’s taken a little bit from every coach he’s been under," Hanie said. "Like from Mike Martz, for instance, he learned so much about coaching wide receivers. He could literally be the best wide receivers coach in the game. Martz was so good at the details of receivers routes — sometimes too good where receivers got mad, but Goose knows how to walk that line a little better — and he learned that from him.

.......teaching functionally illiterate millionaires how to do stuff on a football field.
