this is the stupudest thing ive read in a while. Guenther did a great job tonight. Burfict and Jones are the problem. Those two are thugs the likes of which dont exist on rosters outside of dallas, oakland and cincy. to blame thise penalties on guenther shows a complete lack of understanding of the nfl and football in general.

Where was Guenther in the midst of all that?
You think the coordinator doesn't have the ability to set a certain tone? Enforce some discipline? Make it clear for players with a certain history that they will either play a certain way or not play at all?
I love tough football. That was not tough football. That was a disgrace, and at the end of the day, leaders are held accountable for the way they influence (or don't) the groups they are being paid to lead.
I've never played football in the NFL. This is true. But I know some things about leadership and the ability to influence a group and set a tone. I did it as captain of my own high school football team. I did it as a sergeant in the army. I still do it as teacher of high school boys in some very rough neighborhoods.
But, yeah, if you want the leader of that bunch leading your team into the next era, you're entitled to your opinion.
