  • Evidence keeps mounting that Chip Kelly

can't interact with people in a normal manner.

How did Lurie hire this guy in the first place?!?

Also, I now see how Kelly might not want to go back to college and deal with boosters, etc.

Heard the Mayor on WIP morning show this week and he told that story. I wasn't surprised in the least to hear that (assuming it's true. Politicians are lying scum!)

      Not defending Chip here but

That wasn't a home game, that was an away game. So when did that interaction actually occur? I don't deny that Chip is socially awkward, but I have trouble finding truth in this story.

It sounds like the only guy Kelly got along with in Phila. was Angelo Cataldi.

Also it is interesting that Lurie fired him a week before the end of the season but nothing really exceptional has happened interview-wise with that extra week.

I think Lurie just wanted Kelly gone ASAP. Unfortunate because Howie Roseman and this HC search do not inspire confidence.

Send an email to Mayor Kenney and ask him.

            Yup. At Tampa.

So the guy is either bullshitting or flat out lying.
John Erlichman, one of President Richard Nixon's closest aides, has admitted America's "War on Drugs" was a hoax designed to vilify and disrupt "the antiwar left and black people" when it was launched in 1971.

Or he or the reporter got it wrong that it was a home game. My guess is they would be back in Phila. around 10 or 11 PM after a 1 PM game in Tampa.

Could it be possible that he saw some doughy winnie the pooh lookalike and just started rambling compliments to him?

More likely he got the fact that it was an away game wrong.

Yeah, but that's a key point ... throws doubt on seeing him in a grocery store "later that evening" if it was an away game, no?

This isn't a court of law. I have no reason to doubt the Mayor's story, but I acknowledge there are things that are wrong with the report. If it was a court of law and I was on a jury I would throw this out.

On the other hand, I could easily see the two men running into each other late in the night in the 7-11 or Wawa.

                      Why you throw money?

                        Speaking of social misfits

Doesn't Lurie have a history of hiring them?
                        Joe Banner: social misfit
Howie: Doesn't play well with others. Sure sounds like a social misfit to me.
Lurie seems to collect them the way LaLa/LosLos/RefRef collects cats

The eagles were also not down by more than a fg in that game at any time. Mayor is a handjob

Question is: Did the incident of Kelly snubbing the future Mayor happen?

If it did, Kelly is a handjob. I suspect it did happen.

Too many people are coming up with stories that Kelly could not interact with people in a reasonable manner. It's kind of like the Bill Cosby situation... when so many people tell the same thing I think there must be some truth there.

For me, I knew it when I saw the illuminated "Habits reflect the mission" sign in the tunnel. I was like "WTF" and I mentioned it to slag at the time.

We need to hear from the store owner ... unless the mayor threw money, the owner should be reliable.
