  • Are Lurie and Roseman the Toxic Twins?

everyone talks about how Kellys name is mud around the league, and that may be true, but I have to wonder why the Eagles are interviewing such lowly regarded candidates. Could it be that Roseman and Lurie have as bad a reputation amongst coaches and personnel execs as Kelly has with owners? It sure as $hit looks that way.

And who are these great coaches out there that they are not interviewing while the other teams interview these great candidates?

      They couldn't even land Gase.

I don't think so. Lurie got the "it" pick with Kelly then gave him control and booted Roseman to equipment manager. Chip fkkked up so badly that no NFL team wants anything to do with him. The scathing criticisms of Kelly are coming from players not the Eagles. His handpicked roster quit on him.

What highly regarded candidate have the Eagles missed out on? Coughlin is probably the best out there and he wants the job.

Did the Eagles offer him a job, Mort?

I can't say with certainty, but by most accounts Gase was the hottest commodity on the market and Eagles were quick to interview him. The Eagles were either unable to land him or they are smarter than everyone and went another direction.

High School Harry. Who hired him anyway?

Unless you were against the Chump hiring or firing, you can't criticize Lurie. Kangaroo court.

Nobody is as informed as Lurie during the hiring process nor the firing process. That's on him. I get to criticize Lurie's results. I get to criticize his 22 years of futility.
