I am in no way supporting McAdoo but you are blaming the wrong guy for the Giants 4th quarter collapses. Coughlin was the one who was brain dead at the end of games which cost the Giants 4 wins. No way I want Coughlin as the next Eagle HC.

Macadoo never worked the clock when the situation dictated he should. Always left a lot of time for other team to steal game.

Adapt your gameplay and calls to the situation at hand. Pass/pass/pass during situation when runs would work the clock and give other team little to no time to go length of field and steal the game. With their D issues you'd think Macadoo would have ran ball 50-55% of time to try to help. Nope.

That is not McAdoos fault, that is Coughlins fault. Coughlin forgot how many time outs he had one game, he didn't know how many personal fouls OBJ had in that game against Carolina which he just let OBJ run wild and lose them that game. Coughing was the reason the Giants were bad, not McAdoo.

You can't do this. NFL contracts prohibit this from happening as the assistant coaches are not allowed to leave their current position for a lateral move.

I wouldnt love this hire but youre wrong by blaming McAdoo. The Giants had no running game because they dont have a capable running back. They had the worst defense in the entire league. If they didnt keep converting first downs when the game was close, the defense was obviously going to give up points as a result. The way they moved the ball all year was passing. He had to continue to do that even late in games because of their ineptitude on the ground.
