  • I want a leader of men

all we hear about is coaching trees and equating a coordinator's abilities to the success or lack thereof of his side of the football...what about the motivational side of coaching? Very important. Obviously Chip failed here in a huge way. Buddy may have been the best at it that I've seen here...the Eagles generally played hard for Andy too.

dont know ANYTHING about McAdoo, Pederson, in that regard. Shurmur had one game to impress and hard to tell from there...but the effort was there on that day. I think this is another area where Coughlin is solid.

          Shurmur has no fire

but Fire Marshall had his day...I do agree a team takes on its coaches personality and we need an Alpha Not a Beta!

David Shaw would be ideal but doubt he's interested. I know I'd rather wait for a perfect Opp than just take Eagles' job and have to worry about roseman's backstabbing bullshit and work with a FO that is dysfunctional at best.

I don't know if I've ever been this down on the Eagles in general. I've almost given up hope of ever seeing a super bowl title in my lifetime. I just don't have any confidence at all in Lurie to get it done.
