All the Way from Memphis is their finest work.
John Erlichman, one of President Richard Nixon's closest aides, has admitted America's "War on Drugs" was a hoax designed to vilify and disrupt "the antiwar left and black people" when it was launched in 1971.

Hummm I'll have to research this. I thought they were a one hit wonder??? They were going to break up because of a lack of commercial success and that's why David Bowie gave them this gift.

Ian Hunter was no joke, either.

Mick Ralphs was the original lead guitar.

He left to join Bad Company.

I saw them at the Allentown Farmshow arena with Queen before Queen were more worried about getting tunes into the Top 40.

Fucking ROCKED the place. And yea, Arial Bender was in that show. Did this trick where he would point the guitar and play a note and the speaker at that spot would blare it out. Then pointed to another speaker and the same...then another and so on until they just went off all over the place.

Well, that was weird. I was listening to Bowie tunes on YouTube...that was the last one I listened to and then I click over to Igglephans and here this is. Strange...

Their big problem was that Mick Ralphs

and Ian Hunter used to bump heads about the whole commercial success thing.

Hunter really didn't give two shits about it and Mick was all about top 40.

While that song mollified Ralphs for a short while, he eventually left to form Bad Company and pump out top 40 pansy rock.

Hunter hung around a bit longer and then went off on his own.

Corky and I saw Hunter at the Brandywine Club outside Wilmington a while back. The best part of the evening was when WMMRs Pierre Robert tried to dance with Corky while Hunter was playing and Cork slapped his hand away and told him to "Get the fuck away from me." lol
