This hire, if it happens, does not excite me AT ALL.

I don't get it esp after seeing this.

"Coughlin reportedly believes he has 2-3 years left in him and is interested in winning right away."

wtf would you hire someone as HC who is only going to be here for that short of a time? Are the birds that close that they just need a tinker here and there?

If this happens I guess that means Bradford would stay, draft an OT in 1st, switch to a 4-3...wonder who the DC would be.

Hire could also be a stopgap due to the seeming lack of talent available for HCs. I want to know why Opie never got a call.

Coughlin went 1-5 vs Eagles past 3 years and his team is 10 games under .500 during that stretch.

Lurie and Roseman are FUCKING CLOWNS. I have absolutely ZERO faith in them righting this organization.

We are hiring a good up and comer
              In COUGHLIN.

We are so shittily run, man. It's just fucking hopeless for all of us. So tired of caring. Just don't get this line of thinking AT ALL.

              Beyond frustrated.

All I care about is from today forward. He's 0-0 in Philly And I think he's lost his mojo to be honest.

We aren't getting COUGHLIN from 4 years ago. We are getting a shell of him.

Somebody (John Feinstein maybe) said last week players lose a step but coaches do too. And coughlin looks like a coach who has lost that step.

Why they'd hire a coach who has 3-4 years left to coach this team in its current state baffles me.

This whole interview process has been a disorganized mess. Either they put all their eggs in Gase's basket or they had no real plan after they fired Chip.

given the miserable nature of the job search they got real lucky coughlin was still available. he wasnt the best candidate on the market but lord did the toxic twins line up some real losers as candidates for the job.

it could have been so, so, so much worse. it could have been dougie pederson for chrissakes.

                          So last year,

We signed a bunch of cowpies. This year we are going to sign a washed up vaginant coach? Will not work out any better.

With the way this is going, next year Lurie and babycakes will probably swap franchises.

Everyone bitches about how soft the franchise has become. Well at least we know defense will get some attention now.

One positive about it all is that FMB will probably tell The Triumvirate of Dysfunctionality that they suck. And they might actually listen.
