I know the ultimate answer is money from Prime Time ads but why WHY pick this time slot? I'd be a tiny bit more compelled to watch during the afternoon/early evening but this time cuts out lots of viewers imho...kids who have to go to bed, parents who have to PUT them to bed, Monday morn early workers, etc. Yeah, it works for the west coast but all in all L A M E!!!

However there is no doubt that the NFL is a television driven network and they want to schedule as many games as possible in "prime time".

I always sit down to watch and then 5 minutes in, remember how much it BLOWS and change it. I try to stick it out for one drive from each conf.
