The Cleveland Browns will cut quarterback Johnny Manziel when the new league year begins on March 9, Ian Rapoport reports. Off-field incidents have plagued Manziel during his time with the Browns.
Obscenity is the last refuge of an inarticulate motherfucker.
In all fairness there are some variables ... it was a story that Kelly told when asked about why he paid what he did for Bradford (if I remember correctly).
And, even if true, the people making the personnel decisions in Cleveland have changed.
Regardless, if they cut Manziel, they're clearly looking for a QB then.

Yeah, I think Hue Jackson is more likely to go the draft and develop a young QB route.
He's made $78m already. Doubt he's gonna wanna go there. It's one of the worst landing spots for a QB, historically. You'd have to put a lot of faith in Hue Jackson to go there long term and I just cannot see him doing that.
I believe he'd rather throw to DeAndre Hopkins than Dwayne Bowe. He's had enough garbage WR's to play with in St. Louis and Philly.
He will either be stuck here or going to Houston. Texans will overpay for him after that playoff shutout.
Tom Condon should be disbarred if he allows his client to sign a long term deal in Cleveland. (No offense EIO)
Also, I am sure Jackson will wanna take a QB at 2 and groom him behind Manziel ERRRRRRR whoever is starting at beginning of the season. Jackson gets a longer leash if he's building with a young QB and not just trying a quick fix. Well, with Haslam you never know but historically you can get an extra year or two if your coaching area begins with a rookie QB and not a veteran. Not as much pressure to "win now".
Texas is more attractive to him and likely has more interest, but it doesn't hurt if Cleveland gets in the mix ... and there's the added bonus of Eckel potentially fucking up another Cleveland-related scoop.
