(and I'm not saying he doesn't have it coming) - it's hard to argue that he hasn't gotten off to a great re-start over the past few weeks with decisions to re-sign key players and dump Riley. These are the easy calls, and there's plenty of time for him to Danny Watkins us again, but so far, so good this offseason.

Would have counted 5.3 against the 2016 cap. There is 2.4 million of dead money so the Eagles save 2.9 against the cap in 2016 and like 7-8 in 2017-2018.

I was just going to post this. Good observation.

How much more would it have cost them if.....

...they released his a$$ before the season that just ended. Another couple of mil? Another question: Why is it that 80% of the posters on this board know more than NFL executives?

This is the part he has always been pretty good at. It's when he has the stopwatch in his hand that I worry. Agreed though, so far so good.

Roseman deserves almost no credit for this. KKKooper was going whether or not Chump Kelly stayed.

Not sure I'd put anything past Kelly. He'll probably sign him in SF.

Doing the obvious doesn't deserve a pat on the back.

Not drafting a 30 year old fireman in the first round was obvious.

Getting the easy ones right is a good first step. I'll take it.
