Amazing Temple win; St. Blows looks really good

and to be fair, Villanova handled the pressure as the no. 1 ranked team in the nation really well in their first outing since the pole came out.

Anyone who missed Temple's comeback win over Uconn last night missed a GREAT college basketball game. Still dont know which team is going to show up on a given night, but that was one helluva win and they are on a nice roll right now. Hope they can keep it up. Interior defense seems to be their biggest weakness and their traditional offensive lethargy, which seems to come and go.

Bembry appears to be the truth for St. Blows except he cant shoot open jumpers or free throws...that's a pretty big "except." However, off the dribble, and in transition he is a beast. If he can fix his shot, might be a first rounder. I wouldn't come out this year if I were him. probably a late second rounder right now...

It makes the losses against ECU and Houston even more infuriating though, doesn't it? I agree about their interior defense, which is why I don't think they have much of a chance against Nova next week. But we'll see. They're probably going to have to win the AAC tournament to get in, which is certainly doable.

Bembry is my favorite Big 5 player since Wyatt. He's certainly NBA material.

figured Temple was toast late and started to go to OnDemand to catch up on some stuff, but at the last minute checked the Temple game one more time. Damn if they didn't just make the UConvicts look like crap late in the game. 3 straight turnovers at the end? Calhoun must be shitting himself.
