They should try to bring him in. As others have said, at worst he can be Pederson's Pederson until he drafts his guy. I was looking at his stats and reading some articles about him a few weeks back. There's really not much of a sample size, but he doesn't sound horrible. Certainly not your franchise qb, but I agree better than Sanchez.

At least Daniel provides a glimmer of hope over Sanchize and less risk than Bradford. I still think if the eagles can franchise Bradford and move him, they should do it.

What makes you think that. Sanchez is a backup caliber player but Daniel is a backup caliber player who hasnt really seen the field at all. Theyre the same age so youre hoping that the unknown commodity is better than the known commodity but there is a reason, likely a lack of skill, that has kept Chase Daniel on the bench his entire NFL career. My belief is that people only like the idea of Daniel as the starter because it confirms a tanking strategy for 2016 but tanking isnt a guarantee.

This whole scenario reminds me of 1998. The Eagles had Rodney Peete just like they habe Sanchez now. reid came in and went with Pederson who is like Daniel. However, the obvious key difference is there is no Donovan McNabb waiting in the wings. They are all bad options but lets not act like there is anything in Chase Daniels pedigree to suggest he isnt anything better than a clipboard holder.

If youre hoping chase daniel is a preferable alternative youre going to be sorely disappointed. For the record, i support resigning or tagging bradford instead of holding a contest to see which one of these clowns is the tallest midget.

and thats the only somewhat legitimate reason for chase daniel. but thats a gamble that probably wont work given the talent at other positions on this roster. the eagles simple arent bad enough, even with a shit qb, to finish last in 2016.
