and grab a second rounder. I think they can still get a solid OL or DB further back in the first round. Not having that second round pick is killer because it makes it harder to justify using their second pick (3 rounder) on a QB.

At this point, I don't think it makes sense to take a QB until late in the draft. There just isn't a QB worth taking where they will be drafting until late!

They've indicated they are intending to win the division and they have cast their lot with Sham. If he flames out this upcoming season, they can sign a FA QB in 2017 or even keep Bradford for another year and be in a better spot to draft a QB.

Maybe they find their long term QB in 2018.

If Bradford is successful, Great! That would be a good problem to have to deal with.

I hear ya. IMO, they still need to draft a qb in case Bradford gets hurt or engages in serial mediocrity. I think there are some guys later on that would be worth taking a look at - Hogan from Stanford is an example. Maybe he'll be around in the 4th or 5th. I have no idea. I'd feel a lot better about it if they had a second round pick. Then you know you are filling a couple of needs before even going there.
