I think if they trade Maxwell, they resign Nolan Carroll, which I don't think is a huge step down. I could live with Carroll and Rowe as starters, with JaCorey Shaeppard competing for the nickel spot.

If Howie gets a 2nd though, I'll be shocked. Guy is not talented enough to justify a 2nd AND paying his contract.

The DB coach last year was universally praised by his players, and one of the few coaches to be retained. If he's willing to part with Maxwell after working with him for a year, I'll take the magic beans.
