The one thing Howie is undeniably good at is getting value from players we don't need.
Really? He just dealt three starters and two draft picks for two draft picks. I know people are happy those players (and contracts) are gone but lets not act like the Eagles got value for those players. In the NFL Its not as hard to dump salaries as people are making it out to be because the signing bonuses have already been paid by the desperate party.
Howie sold Murray, Max and Kiko low and thats what hes gonna do with Sanchez.

In comparison to Chip release DJax and trading Shady for Kiki, Howie looks like a genius.

Would it be impolite to point out that Howie had a chance to deal Jackson and he failed. I guess he wasnt really good at getting value for that player.

Moving up 5 spots in the 1st round is huge. Kiko wasn't even going to be a starter and Maxwell making all that money was bad for the locker room. Not to mention guy is mediocre and can't tackle.
Sold low? He moved the team up into the top 10 in the first round. They can either draft the guy they want at 8 or they can trade back and recoup the 2nd they sent to the Rams. No one expected them to get much for Murray but to move up to the top of the 4th is something.
I read somewhere on Twatter that moving from 13 to 8 is the value of a 3rd round pick. So if you look at it as a salary dump/BCJ removal for a 3rd rounder, it looks ok to me.
