Apparently they just vanish. I guess the NFL's position is that the compensatory draft pick thing compensates the Eagles for the loss of a FA player. I don't agree with it in the case of "illegal" tampering.

I may be wrong but I don't think the Eagles received a compensatory draft pick in 2015.

They would recieve compensatory picks this year--if they had list more FAs than they signed which wasnt the case. Actually, if a team is found guilty of tampering like KC has and gets stripped of draft picks, I think those picks should go to the other team. After all, if it werent for the illegal contact, that FA, whether in this case it be Maclin or anyone else, might have stayed with their team. I find it interesting that this wasnt even publicized in the last year.
