    Elliott, Stanley, or...

Move back and draft a Will Fuller/2nd-tier CB/2nd-tier OT and get a #2 or a #1 next year?

    #2
yeah im with you provided they rate stanley high. elliott has to be their guy at this point. if hes there at 8 you gotta figure they have him very high on their board.

I doubt Howie takes Elliot. What makes you think otherwise?

        Stanley or Hargreaves

I'm with you. Prefer Hargreaves. It's hard to pass up on Elliott but I have a feeling Howie going to be conservative.

If by conservative you mean risk-averse, Elliott might be the most risk averse player in the draft. Once you get past the conventional wisdom of the day that you don't take running backs in the upper reaches of the draft, you're talking about a bankable, marquee franchise player.

And apart from the video game covers and jersey sales, he just happens to be exactly what this team needs right now. Instant offense. A bona fide game changer.

If he's there at #8, I don't hesitate. Not for a second. He'll be the best thing to happen to Philly since TO.

              Didn't Howie draft Shady?

I'm sure he understands the value of having an impact RB.

In the 2nd round, not with 8th pick

If they knew now what they knew then, McCoy would have been a top 10 pick in 2009. He certainly would have gone higher than Moreno did.

Only two 2nd round drafted RBs have really panned out since then (Lacy and Bell), and neither have been close to McCoy's caliber. The Eagles got lucky that year. You can't count on getting that lucky again.

Elliott has genuine superstar potential. I can't care where you take him, just take him. This team needs a home run threat, and an identity. He brings both.

                    Wasn't Westy a 3rd rounder...I don't go RB w/#8

I don't care how much potential a RB has...if you can't stretch the D and can't block...they all look pedestrian.

Gotta get a burner at WR who can make the safeties stay a step back.

Gotta get a line that can open that first lane...

Remember when we had DJAX...it wasn't a coincidence that McCoy led league!

I just dont think Hargreaves is worth the eighth pick. He just doesnt look like a superstar to me. They have been adamant about going BPA regardless of need and it looks like they have a legit shot at one of the true generational talents of this draft. Not to mention, This team is in desperate need of a playmaker on offense.

Think this is the play as well. Just hope Hargreaves is there.

                        Think Ravens might take Stanley.

Why doesn't he look like a superstar? He's not particularly big and he got killed by Amari Cooper. But he's super quick and has elite instincts. I think he's a pretty safe pick to the extent there is such a think. I certainly wouldn't be upset if they took Zeke. The notion of having a solid secondary for the first time in years is appealing to me.

fast, straight line runners at the cb position can look dominant in college but drop off in the pros because they cant flash their hips quickly enough. it looks like hargreaves falls into this category. it doesnt mean be cant be good but its gonna be a hinderance.

just my opinion from watching him play and seeing him lose some balance during combine drills.

Stanley would be the safe smart pick. Peters is gone after this year
