Brutal marathon today, I sucked and weather sucked. First ever over 4 hour 26.2. This will stain my honor for generations.

    Where was it?

Try an ultramarathon! I know a guy that does long distance bike rides in the snow - he did 150 miles in Wisc Jan 2015, this year did 300 miles in Idaho (he crashed and burned tho and had to drop out), then did 150 Iditarod in Alaska in Feb. Some guys do 350 and 1000 miles. The amazing thing is people run these races too.

They have a running race and a mountain bike race, both a century. It's at 10K altitude. A buddy of mine ran it and he was sick for two years. No exaggeration.

As far as slow times, I did a bike ride today. 22 miles in 2 hours. How about that for speed?

People who enjoy ultras can't match my skills at the buffet and the bar.
