      Dumb coach....maybe.

Reactionary, self involved, desperate, egotistical, and out of touch?...most definitely.

Grander scheme??......sounds like the making of a good comedy and you give them far too much credit with even the mildest speculation.

      Shame on you.

      .
I'll take that to my grave now. What a burden.

        Amazing

All you guys that don't want to give the guy a chance to prove he doesn't belong. I have to believe you guys all have such great football minds, and were so in demand, that you just couldn't take a head coaching job any where. The guy has been widely praised by players, and his former employers. You always want to compare the Eagles to the Pats, Packers, Steelers, et al. I am not sure a single one of those coaches are out there spouting ground breaking ideas to the masses. lf he flops, he flops. He was an NFL quarterback for more than a couple of years, granted as a back-up, but he obviously has something about him that teams kept him around. Maybe a bit of football intelligence? Maclin seemed to think it was a good hire, FF of course does also. As for Roseman, whether any of you like to admit it or not, he has had a very good off season so far. You all know you would be bitching if they had kept the players they traded, and to get something for them, no matter how little, is a huge positive. I will wait and see three years from now how this draft turns out, but I suppose you all think they should be able to draft 5 or 6 Pro Bowl players and all the picks better be starting before the year is over. Just chill out with all the negativity and see what happens. If you get a bad vibe, then quit paying attention to Eagles news.

Have you visited this site before?
500 internet fights, that's the number I figured when I first joined igglephans. 500 internet fights and you could consider yourself a legitimate internet-tough guy. You need them for experience, to develop leather skin. So I got started. Of course along the way you stop thinking about being tough and all that. It stops being the point. You get past the silliness of it all. But then...after...you realize that's what you are.

            Amazing.

We've never seen the Eagles win the off season championship in March before.
John Erlichman, one of President Richard Nixon's closest aides, has admitted America's "War on Drugs" was a hoax designed to vilify and disrupt "the antiwar left and black people" when it was launched in 1971.

....I usually just flush. Nothing they do sticks with me much anymore.

PS: A request.......please break future posts up, use some paragraphs, that block of text is hard on the eyes.

ha ha. Except that philosophy is gone.

Four franchises: the Phillies, Flyers, Union and Sixers have taken a new direction.

                  Howie is Joe Banner Jr.

And Jeffrey Lurie has subjected the Eagles fans to Groundhog Day. Hit that alarm again, fans, we're right back to where we were.

                    ok

Sorry about the long post before.

You guys that keep saying "they won the off season" award are just amazing. If they did nothing, and "lost the off season" you'd bitch that they didn't do anything.

So let's say they keep Murray and Maxwell. They would still be on the hook for an ass load of money, would not be in the top ten draft position, and you would be bitching they didn't do anything to get rid of them.

You judge a guy before he even has a practice session, let alone coached a game. Wouldn't it be great if you were offered a job, and before your first day, the vast majority of customers, clients, or other employees decided you sucked at it?

I guess maybe they shouldn't even play a game and accept a 4-12 record. Nobody gets hurt, nobody earns more money, and most importantly you guys can get all the bitching, and whining done now without ever spending a minute watching, or a dime going to the games.

What new direction? Ed Snider is still a fanboy hiring ex-Flyers to run the team. Homer is still there. You know Clarkie has plenty of input. Hexy is the Flyers version of HowLo.

Wake me up when they have their parade.

                        It must be killing you.

Ed has given up the reins and now they're doing things the proper way. Even introducing hockey analytics to the management process.

I suppose you missed the part where they dumped high priced vets versus trading for them at the deadline.

But that's ok, keep on hating and choking on the bile.

I'll sign up for 4-12 if it guarantees us (not them) deshaun Watson in 2017
                          Draft.

I'll take that all day long.

                            Nice thought

But the Browns are probably 3-13.

                              Hockey Analytics? Bwah!

Snider won't give up the reins till he's dead.

Are you admitting to thirty years of incompetence?

Ed's always right even though the Flyers always choke.

And you criticize Lurie. You are the model Stepford.

                                Early onset alzheimers?

                                I've admitted mistakes were made.

And compare Ed to Jeffrey? Honestly? The only thing Jeff brought to Philly was his mother's money and Joe Banner.
