  • Looks like we can finally assign blame for Marcus Smith

At least that's how PFT makes it sound.

Call it sour grapes or whatever, I don't care...but I want him to fail miserably in SF.

    What a slob.

The problem is, Roseman's track record isn't much better. Actually, if Agholor turns out to be decent, last year's draft doesn't look all that bad with Hicks and Rowe.

All that said, I don't know if this qualifies as impermissible grave dancing, but I really hope Kelly flames out in SF. He comes across as such a dishonest, unaccountable shady dude.

The biggest thing Roseman has going for him is one of the best defensive players this team has had since Lurie has owned the team. FF swung and missed on so many D Linemen it was almost comical.

Howie admitted Marcus Smith was his pick though

I was wondering about that. Maybe that was "the new and improved, humble Howie Roseman" just taking it on the chin. Either would be believable and one of them is still running the show. That's the problem.

I think he owned it just to stop being asked about the pick. Whether it was him or that chubby asshole in SF he just took responsibility as its a new area here.

He probably did it just to end the questions and move on. Lurie knows Who was responsible for it and Joffrey's approval is all that matters at the end of the day.

I think after winning the battle with Chip, Howie could claim that one. I don't think he needed to itemize.

It's not sour grapes. That guy gutted our offense (McCoy, DJax, Maclin) and saddled us with awful contracts for terrible players. Even worse, he was arrogant and accepted zero blame. A little bit of ire should be fully expected.

I don't know who drafted who but you gotta give Chip big props for making a sleazeball like HowLo look classy.
