I just hope Colangelo doesn't waste any assets on B level talent...

"Steps down." Bryan Colangelo likely replacement. Feels like they kinda did Hinkie dirty there. Oh well.

Bryan Colangelo is 10 times worse than Hinkie. He's Reuben Amaro Jr. for Christ's sake.

He's had some hits, he's had some misses. He made some good moves in PHX but most will point to his drafting of Andrea Bargnani number 1 overall (ahead of LaMarcus Aldridge) in TOR as his biggest miss.

I guess you can say, especially with this hire, his biggest hit was being born with the last name Colangelo.

A Huge Step In The Right Direction

I can't believe people kept buying tickets during this joke of a season. This franchise has been tanking it for years -- maybe the next GM can bring back a team worthy of the city and its fans.

I think Hinkie took the tanking thing too far - i.e. his refusal to add any veteran presence to the team - so I'm not losing any sleep over this. However, to be fair, Hinkie has acquired a YUGE chest of draft picks so to the extent Team Colangelo finishes the job and puts together a winner, it will have been with all of the "assets" Hinkie was able to acquire. Worked for the Phils...
