  • Is Peters a tradable commodity?

$3 million cap hit if traded (per overthecap.com)

    $9.2 million salary

    Cap savings $6 million

If the Eagles truly covet Wentz or Goff, they have to go to #1 to leap over all the other QB-needy teams. Tunsil would be best fit for Titans, but picks and Peters may set them up better.

    He is 34, though.

They should renegotiate with him but with the off season signings it seems like that might not happen.

But he could potentially renegotiate with a new team.

Peters at $5-6 million/year (imagined renegotiated deal) for 3 years or something (along with a new signing bonus) is better than the zero dollars he will receive from the Eagles in 2017.

His future as an Eagle is limited to this year as far as I am concerned.

Any move with Peters would then leave a big hole at RT with Lane switching over.

I think he'll have a better year this season, but I agree...he's got one year left with this team.
