In my opinion, we would be better off if assholes pulling triggers had a more difficult time obtaining a trigger to pull.

I have no problem with hunters and other law abiding people owing guns.

I do have a problem with assholes and terrorists owing guns. I believe we need a system that makes it more difficult for assholes and terrorists to get guns.

In my opinion, we need a moderate gun and immigration policy. It is better if people can do things legally.

There needs to be stricter laws for obtaining guns. I agree. I think an even bigger issue is harsher penalties for firearms possessed by felons. Many of these people are getting convictions of only a few years (in prison)...they get out and immediately go get another gun & commit another crime with it. The courts are too forgiving.

How ? there is no such thing as a law to buy illegal guns. Even it there was it will not stop anyone. I can leave my house an in less than 10 minutes buy a guy with no I.D. So if there was a law that said I could not buy it would that stop me ?

By that logic, you could argue against having any law.

Also, that's an oversimplification of buying black market goods. Walking up to someone on the street and asking to buy a gun is probably going to get you robbed faster than it will get you an illegal gun.
