Really this trade, does nothing for the upcoming season, nor the next. I now next to nothing about Goff or Wentz. However, we were not going to go deep this year or the next in the playoffs if we were even able to get in.
Howie and Pederson are sold on one of these two being a franchise QB, and had to trade multiple picks to do it. I understand the logic, and it just means Pederson is here for at least 5 years.
Bradford is this year's starter, Daniels and whoever they draft will compete for the starter's job in 17 or 18. Of course all the talent on the team currently will be 3-4 years older or gone.
