  • Rams Could Throw a Monkey Wrench in this

What if the Rams take Wentz ? then this is a problem. Would the Eagles really want Goff ? This Bradford talk is stupid until the Eagles know they are 100% getting and they will not know that until 8:10pm Thursday night or whenever the Rams pick. Even if they get Wentz and trade Bradford they eat 18 million in cap space. Something tells me Howie didn't think this through.

....The Birds can trade down from 2 if they don't want Goff, there are other teams that would love to have him, 49ers, Jets. Bradford can just pound sand. He's just showing himself to be a big pussy, afraid competition will show what a fraud he is.

When you draft a QB w/ the 2nd pick...the rookie is the clear future and Sam is not. Sam probably feels like he's wasting a year or possibly 2. He doesn't want to be a stopgap and I don't blame him at all. Looking out for his career...nothing wrong w/ that. I wouldn't be too happy either. If trading up was the plan all along, signing Bradford and Daniel didn't make sense. Sam wants to get his career on track and stick somewhere and I cannot blame him for that.

I'll be stunned if the Rams take Wentz. Stunned.

The Rams clearly were willing to tell Howie who they were taking (i) based on the good relationship between the orgs; and (ii) based on the Rams desire to prevent their division rival and now in-state rival (49ers) from getting the other potential franchise QB in this draft by convincing the Eagles that the guy they wanted would be there.

Did Farve puss-out when the Pack drafted ARod? Did Montana quit when the 9ers traded for Steve Young? No they competed and kept the kid on the pine.

Then he shouldn't have signed a TWO year deal!

He signed a 2 year deal! Hell the eagles haven't made the pick yet! For all he knows Wentz blows a tire in training camp. He's just a massive baby!!! Scared to compete!

Ten years ago would be right around Douchebagnacht.

John Erlichman, one of President Richard Nixon's closest aides, has admitted America's "War on Drugs" was a hoax designed to vilify and disrupt "the antiwar left and black people" when it was launched in 1971.
