Raiders to Vegas??? How can that be?

I've been reading that the Raiders are seriously looking to relocate to Las Vegas...I thought there could be no professional teams allowed in a city with legal gambling.

Am I missing something? Is this actually going to happen? Does anyone care, even Oakland?

I cannot see this happening/working. Las Vegas' population is like what, less than 3 million? And how many of them are transplants...Davis is just trying to get leverage for a new stadium.

The stadium will be 50% opposing fans, but the money guys don't care so long as the cash is rolling in. I'd say there's a 90 % chance this happens

And when the schedule comes out every year, the Vegas road game will be a highlight for many visiting teams. Jerruh is already creaming his jeans over the revenue bump. Vegas will kick Oaklands' ass in terms of new cash, high rollers

...a lot of California transplants, when I lived out west Vegas was building a new elementary school every 30 days.

I'm sure that has slowed some but there is a bunch of $$ in Vegas...a team there would fit just fine. The Raiduhs could make a ton of Kaaash.

There are a few other places actually (In Delaware, I think you can bet 3 team parlays or something weird), but pretty much regular sports betting.

Which is silly because the NFL's prosperity is at least 50% due to gambling.
