I actually had a picture of a place in Manhattan called "Beta House" I wanted to post but I could not do so because I can't trust you to respond toi it in a measured or humorous manner. Normally when we make fun of people here it is self deprecating or it is because they open themselves up for it

After further consideration, I restored the thread but I made it un-bumpable.

You can refer to it or reference it with a link... you can even add a response to it-- but it will not reappear at the top of the board by merely adding a response. That is my big problem with that thread.

It can be amusing or informative to bump an old post but it just seems to me that what was going on there was neither amusing or informative.

I have watched very few NBA games since the 76ers in 2012, even then, not very much. I've been watching a lot of these playoffs though, don't know why. I'm fuckin ready for the sixers to be relevant again.

As morally questionable as the whole tanking thing was, I think they are probably in a better position to be really good right now than if they had just kept the status quo. Do you disagree? Just curious.

Hinkie reminds me a lot of Banner (which is ironic since Banner has been killing him on twitter) - really good at numbers/cap but totally unlikable when dealing with agents and players. My take is that Hinkie did what they brought him in to do, but he probably wasn't the guy to finish the job. Now they need someone who can add the final pieces and get quality free agents to come to Philly. Colangelo has a much better shot at that than Hinkie.
