Father-in-law is headed down this path. Fortunately my wife and her sisters are tight knit and close by so they're trying to do whatever they can not only for him but for their Mom. The caregiving side can be more demanding than the illness side I'm told. Maybe all of the new studies on CTE and athletic brain injuries will yield some info relevant to Alzheimers. Between Autism and Alzheimers, way too many people are having their active lives abbreviated.
