    Durant to Golden State.

Holy fuck if that happens. LeBron will be happy he got his now.
John Erlichman, one of President Richard Nixon's closest aides, has admitted America's "War on Drugs" was a hoax designed to vilify and disrupt "the antiwar left and black people" when it was launched in 1971.

Wade is a definite HOF'er. Don't get me wrong, LeBron is the man. I personally go with Jordan but I wouldn't argue with those who favor LeBron.

Screamin' A was talking LeBron to the Lakers today!

Jordan didn't win until Pippin came along.
He went to a much lesser team and willed them to the crown. Amazing player to say the least.

Your basketball IQ is higher than mine, and you've seen a lot more of the greats play basketball. But I'll disagree and say MJ is better.

I don't even like this list because of it leaves off a lot of names. But I'll still use it as evidence. I was actually looking for the list of the greatest NBA players. Take a look at who the NBA voted on as their top 50 players. 70% of those great players who do not have a championship ring played during the MJ area.

**The east when MJ played vs when LBJ played. MJ had the Celtics, Pistons, Knicks, Cavs, and Pacers. Every year he had to go through these teams. LBJ had to go through...(can't think of a worthy opponent)

**MJ is undefeated during the NBA finals

**My last point is a question: Who would you want to have the ball at the end of the game? If you don't say MJ, you smoking some of Trent's stash.

You need them for experience, to develop leather skin. So I got started. Of course along the way you stop thinking about being tough and all that. It stops being the point. You get past the silliness of it all. But then...after...you realize that's what you are.

I feel the same way. LeBron is more physically gifted and can do more things, but MJ was an ice cold killer. There is nobody in the history of sports (during my lifetime), with the possible exception of Joe Montana, who I would want to have with the ball in their hands with the game on the line.

Did any of the Bulls' finals series even go 7 games? The finals were always boring to me because there was never a doubt that he was going to win. I hated MJ, but the reality is, he was the best player in a major sport in my lifetime. Just my opinion, obviously.

My opinion is no better than anyone elses

MJ might be smoother and even a tad better defender. But I have never seen such a "beast mode" basketball player. And mentally he is just as tough as Jordan. He also did more with less, team-wise.

But mostly, for me, it is just that he is the biggest, baddest, strongest player. You know when you played and it was against a player or team that was just too strong? You knew you could outshoot them or you couold out-quick them, but you were never gonna move them out of the paint.

                It's like that.

I still go MJ, but Lebron has the same amount of titles at 31, and if he can continue his excellence....who knows.

I hate the MJ is undefeated during the NBA finals argument. Since when are you a better player or team because you got swept in the first round as opposed to losing in the finals. Its a ludicrous argument. Guess Jordan didn't have that will to win UNTIL he made it to the finals. 1st round...he must've been "mentally weak".

Dumb statement. Lebron has the same amount of titles, but has played 4 more seasons than MJ at 31. And who was the Cav's or Heat's rival in the East to prevent LBJ from going to the finals?

                    I'll hang up and listen...

I can't buy the "he did more with less". His first stay in Cleveland he had a shit team. He formed two teams in his image with Miami and Cleve 2.0.

If we use "he did more with less", I'll continue to say his road to championships was "easier" and the level off competitors is "softer".

Look at the original Dream Team. MJ had to deal with that every season.

and not to hijack this thread, but I hope that's what we get one day. I would love to have a guy in this town, for once, where the other team is shitting their pants when the game is on the line and our guy has the ball.

Brady is goddamned scary in the 2 minute drill with bum receivers, bum RBs and (lately) Gronk.

                        Hope it's Wentz.

And Magic Johnson played center on a championship team (as we well know).

Personally, I don't see James as any more talented an all around player than Johnson.

I hated Montana, too. That's seems to be how it works with me. I hated these guys as a kid and now revere them as an adult. Brady's a cheater. I'll wait to revere him until I'm drooling oatmeal and wearing Depends.

                              all valid points...

Im still taking LBJ if I have that pickup game first pick. On a more interesting note does ABF Singles have meet-up events?

LBJ is a freak of nature specimen. But he does not always use it to his advantage. I didn't like to see him posting up Curry, back him down in the paint, and then pass the ball to JR Smith who misses the shot.
