I actually find color commentary by Faldo, Miller and Feherty (on occasion) interesting/amusing ... but the silly "sophisticated" phrasing of the play by play guys drives me bats.
I generally watch sports with the sound off and with golf, doing it makes me pay more attention to the mechanics of players, which has actually given me a few helpful ideas ... as opposed to the slow-mo shots and audio swing analysis that more often confuses me.Obscenity is the last refuge of an inarticulate motherfucker.Comment
