Could have kept Hinkie if they were intent on drafting guys who won't be on the team.

From what I've read, both guys want to come over this year and their buyouts are reasonable.

Luwawu was rumored to have dropped specifically for the reason of not being willing to be stashed in Europe.

Luwawu wants to come over now they say that is why he dropped to #24. The guy who played with Saric has a $2 million buyout and is going to need to be stashed.

The Frenchman might play in 2 years. The Turkish kid is way too skinny.

Doesn't sound like Sixers took either player with the intention of them contributing next year.

I wanted to see Them take D Jackson, PG FROM ND, at 26. Felt he went waaaay too low.

              76ers

I know fans want instant gratification from the draft, but I love what the 76ers did at 24/26 if you view them as future assets.

Neither player is ready now, I would let Luwawu get one more year of seasoning and then bring him over next off-season and then do the same for Korkmaz the following year.

That's the equivalent of adding an extra top-10 caliber player to your team over the next two summers, in addition to the bevy of picks we already have coming.

This is a long game and I want a team that can compete for a decade, not a team that's in a hurry to get to the middle.
