This particular pick? Davis was a good player who was told he would be a lottery. He should have stayed another year and guaranteed himself a spot.

Not necessarily the pick itself (I understand the unexpected fall) but the awkwardness of the whole presentation. The guy just seemed really uncomfortable, and parading him on stage with the Celtics cap was brutal, especially knowing that he probably won't play for Boston. And the post-pick interview continued the awkwardness.

He's a quiet kid who was pretty pissed about slipping. Maybe he'll use it to become a stud, ala Draymond Green. Who knows.
