FYI - I really like Stenson ... guy's fucking hilarious and well liked all across the tours. Mickelson said after the round that losing sucked but (in effect) there wasn't anyone he'd rather lose to.

They're comparing this to when Watson and Nicklaus had a duel on Sunday in the British Open and the next closest guy was 10 strokes back.

The guy was Hubert Green who had a great quote that went something like " I won the tournament ... I don't know what game those other two were playing."

Well, actually, Mickelson just passed Palmer for second in runner ups ins majors (Nicklaus will never get caught on that, and considering Eldrick's issues, wins also) ... but I get your point now.

To put Mickleson's round/tournament in perspective, his final score would have won or forced a playoff in all but 4 of the total 145 British Opens ever played.
