Thinking about updating the board software

Mainly for security reasons. This software is old and it has vulnerabilities.

Not going to call it an upgrade... just an update.

The board does not require users to give any really personal information, so that is not an issue.
The current software is modified to allow a fully threaded view. A new update would not include this option.

Is it a problem if this is not included in an update?

I like the threaded view but no biggie.

Not sure. I have to check a demo to see what it would look like.

Honestly I do not really want to put a lot of effort into this... I'd be happy with this s/w forever but I think it is something that needs to be done.
