  • DGB

So what was the consensus in his short appearance on the field yesterday? I was in and out towards the end. I saw his one goal line series where Cocker Daniel threw a terrible "fade" route for him. I saw a tweet along the lines of "I can see why people would be frustrated with DGB" but wasn't sure what that was in reference to.

Honestly, I would prefer to not keep a guy who is a lazy undisciplined fuck up. If he turns it around, awesome. But I'm not banking on it.

Guys like that rarely pan out so why waste the time and effort when you can keep a guy like PT?

Get rid of Huff and him and keep Turner. What kind of consistency could we expect de those 2 and Randle? Jesus Christ that's a bad idea.

There's a lot to be said for guys who run right routes, can catch ball, and inspire others

I can understand that line of thinking but at least DGB has serious upside (as opposed to a guy like Randle who is lazy with limited potential to begin with). Normally, I'd be with you, but we are so thin at WR and that is one position where, unfortunately, it seems like a lot of these guys have a little of that in them (DJax did, at times). I'd get rid of Huff and Randle. Keep Turner.

Randle is a bum. I don't want that stiff.

DGB will stick bc he's just a year out of NCAA and guys like him get 4-5 chances before they're officially done.

I'm fine keeping him over huff and Randle. I just really want Paul turner kept on this team. You need dudes like him. I guess that is more my point than Anything else.

the trade spelled the end of Huff anyway. When was the last time the FF actually planned for and kept a real kick return specialist on the roster?

My favorite was the year that he had nobody but Jeremy Bloom field a single punt in the preseason and then cut Bloom before the season, thrusting Greg Lewis into the role. Lewis of course muffed a game changing punt week 1.

There's some shit with Big Red that will never not be infuriating.

Throwing the ball on third and two

                Straight from the FF playbook.

                  DGB is Billy McShovelhands II

I reviewed a lot of him and that could very well be the case. Still, he is a risk that will cost nothing and he still could prove to be different than the McShovelhands label. It's a free trial.

Megatron couldn't have caught the fade route, it was so underthrown. Interestingly they sent DGB on the same route to the other corner on the next down and scored easily with a run up the middle. Gotta believe that had something to with concern about another corner route. He demands red zone attention.

Boy Scouts are overrated in the NFL.

You guys desperately wanted my "boy" Coop off the team. Now you guys complain that we haven't replaced his talent. WTF!!
500 internet fights, that's the number I figured when I first joined igglephans. 500 internet fights and you could consider yourself a legitimate internet-tough guy. You need them for experience, to develop leather skin. So I got started. Of course along the way you stop thinking about being tough and all that. It stops being the point. You get past the silliness of it all. But then...after...you realize that's what you are.

I believe your boy Coop is using his talent working the door at a strip joint in Tallahassee.

It's a free trial until his lack of effort and/or brain fart results in a Loss.

Then it's not all fun and games! It won't be at the Casa Des Ells anyway when I throw my turkey chili against the wall and my dog gets the shits the next day from eating it all off the floor. Is it all fun and games then?! You think I need my fucking wife on my ass about the dog having the runs on her fake Persian rug?

Again, fli am F ine with keeping him this year over Huff and Randle but I don't expect him to amount to much of anything long term. He's got the talent but doesn't appear to have the desire to be a great football player.

                              PROVE ME WRONG, KID!
