I looked at this injury on spinehealth.com or something
It's not that common in the under-50 male demographic.
It's a zig-zag fracture at the front of the vertebrae.
Heals with rest, but sometimes requires surgery (my dad had the surgery) where they inject a type of cement into the fracture to repair.
Can't believe he'll play again. This is his 4th or 5th back injury and he is 36.Comment
