  • Wentz should have a pretty big chip on his shoulder Sunday

Rookie or not, Carson Wentz' NFL debut happens to be against the one franchise that everyone knows thought he wasnt good enough to start in the NFL. Very few teams entered the offseason with such a glaring need at QB than the Browns. Sitting with the number two pick all that franchise needed to do was pull the trigger on the second overall selection and they would have had Carson Wentz as their QB of the future. Instead, that team elected to trade out of the second pick.

It will be interesting to see how much more motivated Wentz will be on Sunday to shove that decision down Cleveland's throat. I know he has the attitude to go after it, heres hoping the skill set is strong enough, even without a live snap in the NFL, for Wentz to make that team regret its decision to pass him up.

It almost couldnt be a more perfect start to the Wentz area.

Carson Wentz was at facility this morning when Doug Pederson arrived at 5:45. He was also here with Chase Daniel during Tuesday's day off

I don't think you could ask for better "intangibles" - at least based on everything I've read. Here's hoping he can play...
